JOYSKILLZSZ: Feb. 26

Our next Joyskillzsz Video Game Day will be Saturday, Feb. 26 from 10 AM – 11 PM in SRC 1480.  We’ll have 15 monitors going!  Plenty of X-Box games (Halo, CoD, Guitar Hero, etc.).  Bring your own console and games as well!

Laser Quest Winter Event

Saturday, January 22, 2011 · 12:30pm – 3:30pm

Our semi-annual Laser Quest Triple Quest outing! We’ll have one solo game, one team game, and one scenario team game, plus pizza and pop! This event is open to non-club members, so feel free to bring a friend or two (or more)! The maximum cost per player will be $20, but the more players we get (up to 30), the cheaper the event is for everyone! Please RSVP to Doc at allenj@cod.edu by Friday, Jan. 14 so he can get a headcount (we need at least 12 players for this event to happen).

Stuffed C.O.W.S. 2010!!

Once again, we’ll be hosting Stuffed C.O.W.S. next week, Friday (Nov. 26) to Sunday (Nov. 28).  Besides a bunch of folks playing RPGA Living Realms, as well as Pathfinder, we’ll be hosting a few of our own events:

Video Games – All weekend (specific games/times TBA).

Uber-Epic Munchkin Tournament - Saturday, 2 PM – Whenever!  (How high will the Door cards stack this year?)

Star Wars Risk – Saturday evening (after the Munchkin Tourney).

Car Wars – Sunday, 1 - 5 PM (Enter the Arena of Doom, if you dare!)

You’re also welcome to come and run an event; just let Doc know ASAP at allenj@cod.edu

We’ll also have a few vendors as well.  AND IT’S ALL FREE!!! (except for the RPGA stuff; that has a fee).

HARRY POTTER!!!

The club will be sponsoring two outings to see the new Harry Potter movie: a midnight show tomorrow and a matinee show on Friday.  Both shows will be at the Cinemark Seven Bridges theater in Woodridge (on Rte. 53, just before Hobson Blvd.)

If you plan to attend the Midnight show, contact RT ASAP at ledtothezepp22@yahoo.com (or text him if you have his number).  Be at the theater no later than 11 PM on Thursday (tomorrow).

If you plan to attend the Friday matinee show at 4:50 PM, contact me by no later than 2 PM TOMORROW.  Be at the theater no later than 4:30 PM on Friday.

Joyskillszs Video Game Day

Come join the thrills at Joyskillszs! Up to 15 monitors will be running such games as Halo: Reach, Left 4 Dead 2, and other XBox games! Bring your own console and games if you want. The event will be on Saturday, Nov. 13 from 10 AM – 11 PM in SRC 1480 (near the Cafeteria).

RiffTrax LIVE! ''House at Haunted Hill"

For those interested, at both Regal Cantera 30 and Cinemark Seven Bridges there’ll be a showing of “The House on Haunted Hill” at 7 PM, done up MST3K style LIVE by the original cast of Mystery Science Theater 3000 (see below for details). Those interested in attending this with the club, contact me ASAP. Watch for an update tomorrow night for which theater we’ll be going to.
