More images for the new Trek picture are in the new Empire magazine. I think JJ Abrams should have chosen people with a bit more testosterone. The first real trailer will be in front of Quantum of Solice. I pray it looks better in motion or else I will be weeping along with Doc. You kind find all the pictures on Cinematical.
Shannon really likes this webcomic series so I thought I would pass it on. You can find it here: http://www.hello-cthulhu.com/

Those of you who wish to purchase the $22 Great America Fright Fest tickets through me MUST email me by Saturday night. (Hey, that’s TOMORROW!) If you wish to join the club for Fright Fest next Saturday Oct 25th and don’t want to spend the $55 at the gate or $35 online for tickets, you MUST let me know. I am purchasing “Twickets” for $19.99 plus tax, this comes out to about $22, on Sunday and if I don’t know you want one, I’m not going to get one. I will assume that you will get tickets on your own if you plan on going
I do NOT need your money ahead of time, unless you really want to give it to me early. (Thanks Doug!) You may PayPal it to me at this address, if you really want to. The club will be pre-purchasing tickets and you may buy them from the club on Tuesday for $12. (The cost of the ticket minus the $10 reimbursement.)
The club is sponsoring the movie Max Payne which comes out today. If you see the movie and keep you ticket sub you will receive five dollars from the club. Just talk to Doc at the next meeting. As per the club new policy you must get you refund within 30 days of seeing the movie. If you interested in putting together a group to see the movie contact Doc. Right now on Rottentomatoes it has a rating of rotten at 17% posotive reviews.

Jon introduced himself as president of our Miniatures Club. They mostly play Battletech but are trying to expand into other games, such as Warhammer, Star Wars, Clix, D&D, etc. They hold meetings every other Friday around 8pm in the SRC North Lounge . For further details, contact him at email@example.com.
The club is sponsoring the movie City of Ember which comes out this Friday. If you see the movie and keep you ticket sub you will receive five dollars from the club. Just talk to Doc at the next meeting. As per the club new policy you must get you refund within 30 days of seeing the movie. If you interested in putting together a group to see the movie contact Doc. I’ve heard good things about the book series so this looked like it would be a fun movie.
Don’t find yourself trapped inside your house on a Friday night. We will be having a club outing to see Quarantine this Friday at 5:35pm at Cimemark at Seven Bridges in Woodridge. It is before six o’clock so you can still get the matinee price of $6.75 (AND remember club members can get reimbursed $5 by the club!). If you plan on going make sure you e-mail Shannon. We hope to see you there!
