Fans in the Chicago area have always been incredibly supportive of our Official STAR TREK Conventions and we’ve had some amazing times celebrating Gene Roddenberry’s legacy in the Midwest. Now, we are very pleased to announce the 2013 visit (May 31-June 2) and we have the greatest line-up of celebrities EVER to headline a Midwest Star Trek Convention! Laser Quest!
The club will hold its Winter Laser Quest outing on Saturday, January 12 from 12:30 – 3:30 PM. We can accommodate up to 30 players. Members can bring non-members (friends, siblings, etc.) to this event. Pizza and beverages will be provided by the club. The maximum cost per player is $20; the more players we have, though, the less each person pays! Please RSVP by no later than Monday, January 7, so we can have a firm head count.

Laps with the Chaps
College of DuPage is hosting the second annual Laps With the Chaps 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, Oct. 20. This is a great community event, so we hope you join us as either a participant or volunteer. Net proceeds will go to student scholarships. For additional race day details or to register visit www.cod.edu/5k.
Our club will be participating in this again this year, the more people we have the better!
